Intro

Here you can download the teaching guide for this extra activity to do with the toy and print activities related to the game. You can also download the digital game and use it whenever and wherever you want.

How to use the digital game

Make 6 simulated purchases. The total price of the purchase is displayed at the top of the board. By dragging the coins the amount is added up in the counter. If the counter turns red the sum of the coins is bigger than required and you need to remove coins and recalculate. There are 10 coins in each pile to play with.

How to use the toy

Hand out the Miniland coins and expalin the equivalent values of the different coins. The game consists of placing different coins next to the objects on sheet 1 (printed out beforehand). These coins have to add up to the value specified on the sheet. First of all, write down the value of the objects on sheet 2, and then put the coins which add up to that amount in place.
